I'm a Pennsylvania lifer myself, and I love the harvest time in this Commonwealth. I'm also a PSU grad and I'm looking forward to the fun on the 13th. Are you going?

Hey PATourKid! I too am from PA! I like it. very quiet and colorful with the leaves changing and all. It's not for everyone that's for sure. You must enjoy complete solitude at times...LOL hey, the fishing isn't bad either! LOL I live Near Williamsport and Lock Haven. In between them. So it won't be too hard getting to the show!

I too have a connection to the keystone state. I spent about six years of my childhood in Womelsdorf a town about 20 miles west of Reading and only about 40 minutes from fantastic Hershey Park!

you sound pretty serious about fishing... do you give tours? maybe you could get together with hucker and offer a salt water-fresh water 1-2 punch --

of course, cliff is on The Island -- and you are way out in the wilds! TIDIOUTE! whoa.... i bet fishing is a VERY GOOD idea out there....

as a native of allegheny national forest I can attest to the fact that NW pennsyltucky is a fisherman's paradise...

ridgway, pa...salute!!!

the pic is of pa's own bridge to nowhere...what remains of the kinzua bridge...built in 1882 and at that time it was the tallest railroad bridge in the world...it was a sight to see until it went down in winds in 2003

WOW!!! I puffed MUCHO herb on that bridge in the day!! Yeah Tidioute is about 25 miles south of that bridge sits RIGHT on the Allegheny River I spent a LOT of time in the ANF, that was always my back yard. I have a TON of friends from Warren Man I miss that place. And yeah the fishing is OUTSTANDING!! Pristine streams and of course the beautiful river. I really enjoy the Steelhead fishing up Erie way. I went to a gathering down in Ridgeway years ago and had a blast. That whole area surrounding the ANF is as pretty as it gets. My younger brother just placed second in the Penn State fishing tournament ( which is held in Tidioute) Man talkin about it makes me JONES to go home!!!!

As WC Fields would say, "I spent a month one night in Erie" (I did...it wasn't that bad...maybe a week's worth).
